We’re talking numbers at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni and the plan is to get

everyone involved, from people who find the topic intriguing but are not

experts, right up to the expert looking for more in-depth knowledge.

A full range of workshop activities, specially tailored to cater to different

age groups and classes in school and to an adult audience with different

levels of expertise, will lead everyone – absolutely everyone –

by the hand into a fascinating yet crucial universe that allows us to

penetrate the mysteries of the world around us.

till 02nd November 2014 "My world from the Space"

Through satellite images and videos, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey to some

of the most beautiful and remote places on Earth. This collection of images demonstrates

the fragility of our planet and the challenges posed by climate change.

Satellite eyes provide images of an ever-changing Earth: glaciers melting, sea levels rising,

rainforests threatened by deforestation, growing desertification affecting croplands and

uncontrolled urban sprawl.

They highlight the importance of satellites in the management and protection of natural

resources and the global environment.

Gunther von Hagens devoted to anatomy, back by popular demand in the fall, in the Eternal City,

before leaving for new stages in Northern Europe.

On the occasion of his new exhibition in Rome, in the beautiful newly renovated spaces SET

  Via Tirso, BODY WORLDS will propose a course dedicated to the life cycle.

The Cycle of Life tell the public the milestones of life through changes

that change constantly the human body. Complexity, resilience and vulnerability of the body

will be shown through an extraordinary series of anatomical studies.

Considered one of the most important traveling exhibitions in the world, with 40 million visitors, BODY

WORLDS allows the public a direct vision and the human body: an innovative way to

know and understand the vital mechanisms and operation of the equipment.

The technique of plastination Gunther von Hagens allows, in fact, the perfect conservation of

tissues and organs, providing a unique opportunity for science.

Rome International Photography Festival at Macro from 27 Settembre 2014 till 11 January 2015

The “Portrait” is the theme of the 13th Edition of the International Photography Festival in

Rome on display now at the MACRO. The collection of photographs illustrates the transformation of

the “portrait”throughout history and reflects how changes in the art of photography have impacted

society. 

In addition, the works of the 2014 Rome Commission, a group of international artists charged with

the task of capturing a portrait of Rome based on their own interpretation of the city will be on view.

Rome Complesso Vittoriano from 04 October 2014 till 08 February 2014


Among the greatest masters of twentieth-century Italian, Mario Sironi is presented

at the Vittoriano in Rome with a major retrospective.

The exhibition "Mario Sironi. 1885-1961 "will be open from 4 October 2014 to 8 February 2015

The exhibition aims to be a comprehensive survey of the artistic career of Sironi, painter but

also illustrator, graphic designer, architect, sculptor and decorator. Through his works, the most

significant means to reconstruct the complex activities of the Master, retracing all the seasons

of his painting, from the beginnings Symbolists at the time pointillist, the Futurist period to

the metaphysical, from the twentieth century Italian mural painting to the works

Second World War.
