Always full of events involving dozens of places in town, the Estate Romana 2010 maintains Romans and tourists during the long summer months. These are the numbers: 150 initiatives, including 35 artistic events, 24 theatrical performances, 23 music performances, 12 exhibitions and 23 film festivals based on readings, lectures, concerts and three special events for children, three events dedicated to books and 5 events linked to special occasions. Not to mention all the measures in municipalities.

Starting from art, there are many ongoing exhibits that remain open all summer, like 'Transparency: the art renewable energy', curated by Laura Cherubini, featuring works by Italian and international artists in two locations the Macro or the staff photographer Mimmo Jodice at Palazzo delle Esposizioni. Inaugurated, while two exhibitions for the fiftieth anniversary of the 'Dolce Vita', mentioned by 'La Dolce Vita 1950-1960, the golden years of gossip', from August 3 to November 14 Markets of Trajan, and from 'The Italian cinema at the time of the sweet life' at the Museo di Roma in Trastevere until July 4.

Back, like every summer, from Sunday, June 27, Summertime, the series of concerts held outdoors in the park's House of Jazz.

A calendar full of the usual ingredients now planning the "House" that goes between the various components of the jazz players of the historical world scene, new names on the contemporary scene, emerging talent; contamination; Italian jazz.

Some names among the musicians who will perform "Summertime 2010" Tom Harrell, Steve Grossman, Rosario Giuliani, Roberto Gatto, Eivind Aarset, Jeff Ballard Mark Turner, Sissoko, Vincent Segal, J oe La Barbera, Darryl Hall, Portico Quartet , Dado Moroni, Pantarei, Frank Ferguson, Larry Grenadier. Appointments are scheduled until July 30 to 21 in the House of Jazz in the Park.

MAXXI, the Museum of Architecture is open and dynamic international institution that uses the most advanced tools to spread the knowledge of and witness to the role in society.

The activities of the Museum are developing along two lines programmatic separate but complementary, to present to the public and professionals of modern architecture and contemporary. The first, historical-critical, are reserved to the architecture of the twentieth century, offered through major retrospective exhibitions devoted to specific subjects or authors prestigious architectural culture of the twentieth century, launching studies and research to discover and rediscover the value. The second, more innovative and experimental nature, is entirely dedicated to debate current and emerging issues in the contemporary world, paying particular attention to young designers and the international scene, to stimulate public and professionals to deal with the ideas and spaces the future.

The great rugby returns to Rome on 3rd, 4th and 5th of June: Stadio dei Marmi will host the ninth edition of the Roma Seven Cup, sponsored by the City of Rome. This is a major rugby tournament to 7 that will feature some of the best representatives of the sport worldwide.

This program of the event for individual days. Thursday, June 3 Welcome Party is held. Friday 4 and Saturday, June 5 different tournaments are scheduled
At 9 am Friday at the start of the preliminary GreenNetwork Roma Seven International Rugby Sevens. Predatory encounters, lasting 14 minutes (two times 7 'each) will happen continuously until the central field 20.
