 Current exhibition by al November 27, 2011 February 12, 2012"Russian Icons (XV-XX centuries)" CASTEL SANT'ANGELO The exhibition, organized as part of the calendar year of the Russian Culture and Language in Italy and Italian Culture and Language in Russia, brings in the halls of Castel Sant'Angelo forty monumental icons from the Museum of Russian Icons in Moscow. In Rome, on display for the first time, a precious collection that testifies to the high quality and refined production of Russian icons from the end of the fifteenth century to the early twentieth century.
