In Rome I always stay in Hotel Julia. I like the perfect location of the hotel (4 minutes from Barberini metro station and 5 minutes from Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps), historical building, nice, clean and quiet rooms, generous breakfast. But most of all I like friendly and helpful hotel staff!!! I recommend Hotel Julia to all my friends and I’ll sure come back. Ci vediamo!

L'Hotel Julia è ufficialmente la mia "residenza" romana, è ufficiale !!! Scendo frequantemente a Roma, e quando ho la fortuna di dover pernottare, il Julia diventa la mia dimora !!! Personale gentile, preparato ed efficiente, camere pulitissime, zona tranquilla, centro strategico per i monumenti, basta solamente il fatto che si trova a risoddo del Palazzo del Quirinale !!! Hotel Julia is a very pleasant place. It's very good situated in the centre of Rome. The staff is very kind, benevolent, attentive. Clean rooms and toilets. If we go to Rome again we will of course stay at Hotel Julia.

We were lucky to stay at Julia Hotel for a week. The location is absolutely perfect  - just a few steps away from Via Veneto, The Spanish steps, Via Del Tritone, Via Del Corso, Via Condotti.  The personnel was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was also very good.  If we come again to Rome we will definately stay at Julia  Hotel.

We really couldn't have a found a more central,or friendly hotel, the staff are a credit to the business, being helpful without being pushy and offering advice about great places to eat. We would definatly go back again

Hotel Julia is good value for money and is very centrally located. We could walk to most of Rome's sights easily from here. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it is in a good area with plenty of restaurants, and we felt safe at night.

El personal es muy atento y servicial. Las tres personas con las que coincidí en la recepteción fueron muy amables. La habitación estaba muy bien y limpia, daba a una calle muy tranquila todo el día. El desayuno era abundante y variado. La verdad viajo cada año a Roma y por relación calidad-precio es en el hotel que mejor he estado.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Julia. The staff are friendly and very helpful.Rooms are clean and a good size with modern on suite bathroom.As the hotel is close to a main street we thought it would be noisy but it was very quiet and the blackout blinds helped us get a well needed sleep in.The hotel is 5 minutes from the Trevi fountain and is in walking distance of everything including the Vatican which took us approx 25-30 minutes to walk to.The hotel is a brilliant location and we would stay at Hotel Julia again should we return to Rome.The breakfast was really nice and there was a lot to choose from.The only thing we would have liked to have made the stay perfect would have been tea and coffee making facilities in the room. But that is just being very picky!! We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Rome and get very good value for money.

We had a fabulous stay for 3 days when we arrived and liked it so much that we finished the last couple of days in Italy back at Domus Julia.  Accommodation was excellent, close to everything, the staff fabulous, and the breakfast was great with plenty of choices.  I will be recommending this place to all my friends.

Hotel centrale vicino alla Fontana di Trevi e vicinissimo alla metro fermata Barberini. Il personale è di una disponibilità meravigliosa e molto cordiale. La colazione abbondante e molto varia. Le camere pulite e comode pur essendo un pò piccole. Prezzo abbordabilissimo e soddisfacente per essere in una zona centrale di Roma.

Staying at Julia was a hit. Down hill some 50 yards and you are in the inner city. Two more blocks to Fonta Di Trevi. Walking distance for any one.

Great hotel staff. Average continental breakfast, wake-me-up ristretto I dont think so.

If you are a stranger to Rome I highly recommend setting up your first base camp at Hotel Julia. Two steps down and you are at Fonta Di Trevi. One step up you can catch the sub to Colosseum. If you got your walking shoes, five steps past Fonta your at S:t Peters Church

Visited Rome with my daughter. The Hotel is quiet and made our stay special. It has a friendly staff, the location was perfect to see local historical sites on foot. The breakfast was good. Hope to make it back to Rome and Hotel Julia soon.

I stayed at Hotel Julia last July and liked it so much that when I returned to Rome in November I never conisdered staying anywhere else. Was staying at Hotel Julia november 2010 with some friends, and I can recommend this hotel. Perfect location, within walking distance to everything. Room was small but nice and clean. Staff was helpfud. Breakfast room is so cute. Can only say that next time I am going to Rome I will stay at Hotel Julia.

We came here on the recommendation of a friend who has stayed here regularly for years, and it was a great tip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I love this area of Rome, so central to everything but still sufficiently out of the way of the hordes just a few blocks down at the Trevi fountain. The family room was fantastic for us, a family of four, and the services were excellent: reasonable rates for airport pick-up, free internet, fine breakfasts, very helpful staff. Definitely highly recommended, and we will stay there again next time in Rome.

Spesso pensavo che le recenzioni fossero inutili e a volte anche un po' costruite adesso vi assicuro che nulla di ci0' che scrivo è falsa: posizione ideale per vivere completamente roma a pochi passi da tutti i piu' importanti monumenti storici: fontana di trevi, piazza di spagna, pantheon e cosi' potrei continuare......hotel pulito, a misura di famiglia ma ideale anche per chi vuole godersi in estremo relax l'aria di Roma, le stanze sono comode ed accoglienti. We stayed in Hotel Julia in January of this year. It was very central to all of the sightseeing. The rooms were adequate for a short stay, clean and quiet inspite of the hotels perfect location. The breakfasts were also reasonable with a great choice on offer.  The staff were also very nice and spoke very good english. For its ideal location I would stay there again on my next visit to Rome.

I have spent almost a week in Rome lately. I was recommended to use the services of Hotel Julia and I think that my choice was correct. The location is wonderful, the rooms are causy and very clean, the personnel is much helpful and kind and in general, I have felt, when returning back to the hotel in the evening, that I am actually returning back home.

I see no reason, whatsoever, for myself or my friends to search for an another hotel during my future visits to the eternal city. Simply good!

I have been staying at Hotel Julia for the past 11 years --  not only is the hotel in the perfect location of Rome -- the amazing staff is what makes the difference !!!  I would not consider staying anywhere else when I come to Rome.  I recommend this hotel to family and friends and they always come back thanking me !  It's within walking distance of everything.  The rooms are well kept, clean and the breakfast room is so cute !!!  Can't say enough nice things about Hotel Julia.

You go to Rome to walk and visit the historical sites. The Hotel Julia is in the perfect location. Once you check-in, a short walk to the Barberini Piazza gets you in the proper mood. The room was great, the staff was very helpful and you feel relaxed and secure in your room. After a (free) breakfast from the well stocked buffet, you grab a map and head out to the many historical sites and piazzas that are within walking distance of the Julia. I should also mention that the train station Termini  is a short (inexpensive) ride away and the metro station is at the Piazza Barberini. Don't let the low rates fool you. I have recommended Hotel Julia to my friends and family members. I stayed there several times and will book it again for my trip in August. 

We stayed at Hotel Julia in October 2010.  The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.  The breakfast has a wide selection of fresh items and is a great way to start the day.

The location is excellent, just 5 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain and close to a metro station.  Overall, as a budget choice this hotel is excellent, and I recommend it very highly.  When I return to Rome, I will definitely stay again.

I stayed in Rome at Hotel Julia for a week. I am a 23 year old girl and was travelling alone. It was perfect for what I needed and wanted:affordable, the room was simple, comfortable and clean, and the breakfast had a good selection. I was in a room without a shower, but I never had to wait for the it when I got up in the morning. The location is AMAZING. Rome isn't big but it was a perfect central location. I recommended it to my brother who went to Rome a couple of months after me and he liked it too. I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I have recently returned from a trip to Rome. We stayed in Hotel Julia for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. It was our second time staying here. We choose this hotel because of its location, so close to everything and so safe. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff are terrific. Breakfast is very good, with plenty of choice. I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay when in Rome and I hope to do so again.

Hotle Julia is a very nice hotel, especially for the independent traveller. The rooms are very clean & warm with fresh linen and bathroom supplies every day. Has an excellent staff, very helpful & friendly.  The location is excellent as well, only a few minutes walk to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. It is a minute to the Piazza Barberini metro station. I admit that me and my friends we really enjoyed our stay there & we will definitely recommend it to others.

As a solo female traveler, I appreciated Hotel Julia's central and safe location. Nearly all sites were within walking distance. My single room was in the back of the hotel, and very quiet and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay at Hotel Julia when I return to Rome!

I stayed for a conference at Rome at Hotel Julia. The location of the hotel is perfect, the service is very friendly and you get WiFi without additional costs. I can really recommend the hotel for a trip to Rome.

The Hotel Julia was recommended to me by my sister, who lives in Regio Asti (near Turin). She has stayed at the Hotel Julia twice and described it as her first choise for a short-trip to Rome.

In 2009 we stayed at the Hotel Julia with our practice-staff for 5 days. We were a group of 9, had 4 rooms.

This year (2010) I returned to Rome with my godchild and stayed at the Hotel Julia for 7 days.

If you are planning a trip to Rome - the Hotel Julia is definitely worth booking. All the rooms ar as described on their website. The staff ist always friendly and helpful. The Via Rasella is a rather small one-way street and not heavily frequented by traffic (especially at night).

Together with my 10-year old godchild I got to (almost) every major sight in Rome on foot - which is to say the Hotel Julia is perfectly situated (the walk to the Trevi fountain or the spanish steps is about 10 min or less). Just try Google Maps!

Rome ist the most beautiful major city I´ve ever visited.

Nel mio primo soggiorno di 15 anni fa scelsi l'Hotel Julia per la sua posizione eccezionale. Da allora non ho più cambiato e i miei soggiorni romani di lavoro e di vacanza sono allo Julia. Professionalità, cortesia, disponibilità del personale ti fanno sentire bene come a casa di amici o parenti. Ulteriori punti di forza: camere accoglienti, ottima prima colazione ed ora anche il wi-fi molto utile nei viaggi di lavoro.

It was my first time in Rome and Hotel Julia. All of the staff were helpful and it was the perfect location for walks to the restaurant, shopping and attraction places. I will certainly choose to stay here again when in Rome, and will recommend the hotel to others.

Great location and walking distance to all historical attractions.  Very friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast.  Unfortunately, the only room available at that time was w/o bath and the public shower had no hot water.  Hair dryer hoses both in my room and public room needs to be replaced.  Other then that I was very pleased with the clean room and service.

We are very glad we followed a recommendation to stay at Hotel Julia - the room, location, welcome, breakfast and staff were all excellent.  We would certainly choose to stay here again when in Rome, and will recommend the hotel to others.

I visited  hotel Julia two times this year. I loved the stay there.

The locatoin are perfect, near piazza Barberini and piazza de Spagna.

It was my first time in Rome and Hotel Julia helped make the whole experience fantastic. All of the staff were wonderfully courteous and helpful and it was the perfect location for walks to fantastic locations (I walked to every sight I wanted to see, but later used the metro a bit, which is quite close by).

All in all, it was a great stay and I'll probably stay in Hotel Julia next time I'm in Rome. Special thanks to the staff!

The Hotel was vere nice and clean. The breakfast was good but the coffee verry bad but we became cappucino!!The Staff verry friendly and i wil recommend this hotel to al my friends.

el hotel esta muy muy bien situado muy cerca a la fontana di trevi y en general todo está a un paso, el personal muy atento y agradable, además te ayundan en todo. Hablan español, por lo que también facilita las cosas, nuestra habitación era muy amplia, limpia, el cuarto de baño es más normal, pero para una estancia de 5 dias donde lo que ibamos es a conocer la ciudad es perfecto, ademas contratamos servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto y una excursión a Florencia, todo genial, repetiría y lo recomendaría. como sugerencia si llevan niños llevenles el colacao porque para el desayuno no tienen.

L'ottima posizione dell'albergo permette di visitare il centro di Roma senza bisogno di utilizzare i mezzi pubblici. Tutti i siti importanti sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. Nonostante la vicinanza a Fontana di Trevi la zona e' tranquilla e di notte nessun rumore disturba. Personale qualificato. Ottima la colazione a buffet.

Siamo stati molto bene. Il personale ci è stato di grande aiuto ed è sempre stato cordiale. Sicuramente in occasione del prossimo viaggio a Roma, vi verremo a trovare di nuovo.

Great location, very good shape and conditions! Breakfast was rich enough to satisfy all variety of nutrition needs :).

Only think that was bothering us was a neighbour smoking in his bathroom. Logically, all the disgusting cigarette odour was getting through vents in our bathroom to our room.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel and should we be back in Rome again, we will come back here.

Good pricing, clean and comfortable rooms,fantastic location-we walked everywhere. Staff was friendly and helpful.  We arrived by car and parking was nearby and easy to get to. Breakfast buffet was very good.  I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

L'hotel e' sito in ottima posizione visto che e' vicino al metro'. Inoltre la flessibilta' dimostrata dalle persone dell'hotel m'ha molto colpito.

'hotel è eccellente, la colazione è grande e il personale molto competente. Le camere sono grandi e molto confortevoli. Nel mio caso il bagno era fuori dalla stanza, ma anche così, era pulito e spazioso. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent location, friendly and helpful staff particularly at reception, cleanliness and good buffet breakfast.  The bedroom that I stayed in looked a bit old, but nevertheless it was a very enjoyable stay and great value for money.

This is my fourth time staying at Hotel Julia, I have always been treated nicely and the staff is very helpful, the location is excallent and it's close to centro Historico.  The rooms are not that big but they are comfortable, the bathrooms are always clean and fresh towels.  Thank you again to all the staff and i hope to see you all again 2011.  Grazie

Da un paio d'anni ogni mio soggiorno a Roma e' stato organizzato pensando all'hotel Jiulia come luogo previlegiato per stare. Per la location eccezionale, si arriva a piedi e in metro in tutti i luoghi piu' belli di Roma, due fermate della Metro da Termini, hotel piacevole, pulito, non costoso e, se posso dire, decisamente migliorata l'accoglienza e la disponibilita' della reception. L'ho consigliato a molti amici.

L'Hotel Julia è per me un punto di riferimento sia per lavoro che per turismo. Posizione centrale e strategica (metro vicinissima), camere e colazione con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Da non dimenticare l'utilissimo accesso Wi-Fi gratuito.

Vicino all'Accademia Santa Cecilia e di fronte alla metropolitana.Personale disponibile ad ogni ora anche di notte.Stanza confortevole e pulita.

Siamo stati molto bene, l'albergo è pulito, accogliente ed in un'ottima podizione che permette di visitare tutta Roma a piedi.

The hotel is very nice, right in the centre, near Fontana di Trevi, the rooms are pleasant and very clean, the prices affordable, the staff extremely kind and friendly. The hotel was recommended by a friend and I am very happy that I took his advice. I have already been at the Hotel Julia 2 times in April and May and I will come back.

Clean, staffs are nice, friendly and helpful. The room is very clean. The location is in the middle of the city while it is also quiet at night - allowing you to have enough sleep after a long day of travelling. I'd come back here again for my next trip to Rome!

It was a fantastic trip to Roma. The Hotel was directly in the city-center. It took a walk of 5 minutes to the spanish stairs. And not longer the the shopping street. The Colosseum was more or less 10-15 minutes by foot. 

The rooms are clean and the staff were very friendly. When we come back. we would chose this hotel again.

Come prima volta a Roma non potevo trovare di meglio, posizione centrale con prezzi decenti , sicuro di ritornarci per un' altra mini vacanza, personale gentilissimo e colazione ottima.

Ambiente situato in posizione ottima.. camere accoglienti e soprattutto pulite ed ordinate... ottima la colazione e il personale oltre ad essere gentile soprattutto preparato e professionale.

Hotel Julia is my best opsion in Rome. Easy to reach from Termini by walk, and very central for all attractions.

Nearby is nice hosteria and several pizzerias to valuable prices.

The staff is very friedly and helpful , I feel like at home.

I visit Rome many  times a year, and will warmly recommend  the hotel for its location , prices and hospitality.

posizione strategica, diciamocelo (come direbbe la russa)(inteso come ministro e non come badante),per qualsiasi destinazione del centro storico, camera pulita (a differenza di quella occupata dai camer...oh, pardòn, dai deputati), bagno collegato benissimo alla rete fognaria, colazione più che accettabile (come diceva il boscaiolo con l'ascia in mano), personale disponibilissimo, che volete di più a roma ? in più, si trova a due passi dal regno dei miei due padri putativi,pietro (garinei) e sandro (giovannini), regno che al 101% non vedrà mai in scena la mia celebre (per me) commedia musicale "l'eco di new york".

Posizione più che strategica: l'hotel si trova a 3 minuti a piedi dalla fermata della metro e in 10 minuti a piedi (se siete lenti) si raggiunge facilmente Fontana di Trevi e Piazza di Spagna.

La camera che avevo è piccola (come avviene in tutta Roma) ma comunque confortevole e il bagno comunque spazioso. Livello di pulizia soddisfacente.

Colazione normale, personale molto cortese e accomodante.

E' una buona scelta.

Mi fa molto piacere lasciare un messaggio positivo su questo book, perchè ho trovato ottimale essere ospite della Vs. struttura, sia per la posizione, sia per i servizi e sia per la posizione.

We were really happy at hotel Julia.  It was a very good choice for our 15th Wedding Anniversary.  Everything was fine, it was well situated, clean, comfortable  and the breakfast was good too.  We really love Rome. Staff at the Hotel are very friendly and helpful.
